Mute Swan
In addition to Ringing Mute Swans, several of the group take part in the rescue of Swans. We work on a voluntary footing in Weymouth for the Assembly as Swan wardens. Also effective closely with Swan Rescue Wimbourne and Abbotsbury Swannery.
Abbotsbury and our area of Radipole Lake and the River Frome, form the local area for Oxford University and WWT Swan study, run by Prof: Chris Perrins.

Ringed as a Cygnet 1996, sighted at Le Havre April 1997.
May 2005 and June 2005 Rethoville, West of Cherbourg France.
Feb 2007 Torr reservoir and last seen Carymoor, Somerset.
June 2007 Radipole ringed first year sighted in Jersey, CI.
