Photo shows winter ringing of a Mallard, for ducks ringed in the summer months ring position is reversed Blue over Orange.
Blue is the site colour for Radipole Lake Weymouth.
Orange is the year colour for 2005, which changed on the 1st October 2006 to White and 1st October 2007 to Black.

The purpose of the study is to gain knowledge of distribution of ducks from Radipole Lake.
Over 900 Mallard have been ringed by the group.
